The College Mace and Presidential Medallion of Manila Doctors College (MDC) is replete with symbols meaningful to the institution. The Mace and Medallion are given a distinct Filipino mark with its use of the stylized sun to symbolize patriotism and nationalism.
The Manila Doctors College seal is found at the heart of the sun symbol from which the six rays emanate to represent the six core values of MDC which are caring, competent, committed, creative, culture-adaptive, and with competitive-advantage. The pole on which the mace is mounted have six bands etched with the six Cs as a fitting symbol of the importance of the merging of these core values in molding the MDC individual, as symbolized by the heart of the mace.
The MDC's desire to "share, nurture and promote the sciences, both sacred and civil, in light of Catholic doctrine," is represented by the overall cross symbol.
Revolving around the sun are the symbols of the cross, education, medicine, and health. The sphere at the bottom of the mace symbolizes MDC's commitment in nursing not only the MDC community, but also the global community.
Presidential Medallion

The Manila Doctors College seal is found at the heart of the sun symbol from which the six rays emanate to represent the six core values of MDC which are caring, competent, committed, creative, culture-adaptive, and with competitive-advantage.
